Across a career spanning more than 25 years, Vouris has established himself as one of the most experienced leaders in the Australasian wagering and gambling sector. At Tabcorp, he played a central role in maintaining the operator’s dominance of the Australian wagering market, overseeing multibillion-dollar businesses across retail, digital and media.
Vouris went on to become a top player in the global esports betting industry through his leadership at Unikrn, where he helped the company achieve multiple industry awards and growth.
Following Entain’s acquisition of Unikrn, he was appointed COO of Entain Esports, before stepping up to lead Entain Australia and New Zealand as CEO in 2025. His track record reflects a combination of traditional wagering expertise, innovation in emerging markets and a people-first leadership philosophy.

Vouris began his professional life in accountancy. Between 1997 and 2006 he worked with Vouris & Bell Chartered Accountants, progressing into management before joining Lawler Partners as Senior Manager. These early roles grounded him in the disciplines of finance, governance and commercial accountability – skills that would later prove essential as he moved into large-scale wagering operations.
In 2008, he joined Tabcorp, one of Australia’s largest gambling operators, as General Manager of Luxbet – a newly launched NT-licensed corporate bookmaker. Over nearly a decade with the company, Vouris advanced through a series of senior positions, including General Manager of Fixed Odds, General Manager of Wagering and ultimately Deputy COO of Wagering and Media.
His leadership coincided with a period in which Tabcorp maintained a dominant share of the Australian wagering market, operating across retail, digital and broadcast channels. Vouris became known for his customer-centric approach, encouraging product innovation while balancing regulatory obligations and financial performance.
In 2018, Vouris transitioned into the esports betting sector, joining Unikrn as COO. Based in Sydney but working across a global team, he played an important role in scaling the business at a time when esports was emerging as one of the fastest-growing entertainment categories. Unikrn secured high-profile backers such as Mark Cuban, Ashton Kutcher and Elisabeth Murdoch, and became notable for its blockchain-driven UnikoinGold token sale – the largest of its kind in gaming at the time. When Entain acquired Unikrn in August 2021, Vouris moved into a newly created role as COO of Entain Esports, helping to integrate the business within the wider group.
After more than two years leading Entain’s esports division, Vouris launched his own venture in 2024, co-founding 3 Kings Capital. His entrepreneurial detour was relatively short-lived, however, as Entain called him back in mid-2025 to assume the role of Interim CEO for its Australia and New Zealand operations. The appointment followed the departure of long-standing CEO Dean Shannon and came during a period of significant regulatory and structural change across both markets.
In August 2025, following a global search, Entain confirmed Vouris as the permanent CEO for its ANZ business. Commenting on his appointment to the permanent position, Group CEO Stella David stated: “Andrew stood out as the right leader for Entain ANZ. His leadership as Interim CEO has demonstrated his commitment to our people, our partners and to building a sustainable, compliance-led and customer-focused culture.”
Vouris himself added: “My priority is to embed a 'win, but not at all costs culture’ and get back to the basics of selling bets. I will also be focusing on leading innovation in our sector while protecting our customers.”
